Prospective study on Sleeping Pills & Dementia
What’s so appealing about this research is its prospective design in which the investigators established a hypothesis to study and then followed 3000 older adults for as much as 9 years. The results indicate those individuals more likely to use prescription sleeping pills of various types were more likely to develop dementia. Certainly should be raising alarm bells!
