With the intense level of traumatic experiences occurring in Israel, I was contacted by a few of their mental health professionals (2 psychiatrists and 1 psychologist) to specifically teach them how to deal with the ongoing outbreak of nightmares. In our discussions, they learned about my broader approach to posttraumatic sleep disorders, and so we devised a three-part program, delivered these next few weeks.
The first part, this past Sunday focuses on insomnia, the second part this Sunday on nightmares, and the third part, the following Sunday on sleep quality and sleep fragmentation.
Here’s part one on insomnia. The video runs 90 min and is unedited. The first 5 min are an introduction, the lecture follows for about an hour. Last, Q &A is 25 min.
