A former patient wrote in directly to me:

Hi Doctor,

I tried the XHance at the recommendation of an allergist. I noticed no difference between that and Flonase. The delivery system seems intuitive and easy to use. Maybe it helps some people. Overall the added cost, didn’t seem justified for me.

I’ve seen much better results from the generic Dymista (even better than mixing the Flonase and azelastine separately).

Best,

I have found XHance to be more effective than Dymista for my turbinate hypertrophy.

I was just prescribed this by my ENT and it helped very much. It has allowed me to be able to use my Pap machine again for sleep. I've only been on Xhance for about a week but it definitely has made a difference. I have very bad allergic rhinitis and non-allergic rhinitis. I have a tendency to develop a tolerance toward medications and eventually they just stop working. This one seems pretty novel in how the delivery system is done to get a better spray into your nasal passages and sinuses. I agree that it does take a little bit more understanding to learn how to use it but as soon as you watch a video on it, it's super easy. I found your article very helpful and I'm hoping this works for me long term. Thank you
